I had the privilege of working alongside Ryan during his tenure as a Platoon Commander in 1st Battalion, Singapore Infantry Regiment (1 SIR). Throughout his time in command, Ryan consistently demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility toward both his mission and his men.

He conducted numerous training activities with diligence and careful planning, ensuring that every session was purposeful, safe, and aligned with unit objectives.
